IMC is currently hiring a PRN Ambulatory Care (Outpatient) Registered Nurse (RN) , who under the general supervision of the Unit Director and with the authority of the Chief Nursing Officer, will apply nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation) in caring for patients. Effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other heath team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Graduate of state approved RN School of nursing. Current license as a RN in the State of Louisiana . TRAINING & EXPERIENCE/JOB KNOWLEDGE: Previous experience preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles. Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry. Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures. Ability to supervise and direct other team members in an effectivemanner.
