Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Spine Surgery team in a primarily ambulatory setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team caring for patients with complex spinal conditions-while enjoying a practice environment that emphasizes continuity, quality, and patient experience.
Your Impact
In this role, you will be a key partner in guiding patients through their surgical journey, with a strong focus on outpatient care and longitudinal relationship-building. You'll play an integral role in:
Supporting pre- and post-operative care
Managing patient progress across the continuum of spine care
Collaborating closely with surgeons and care teams to optimize outcomes
Delivering a high-touch, patient-centered experience

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
Current CA license (or ability to obtain)
Board Certification
Full schedule DEA
BLS Certification
Other Certification required for area of specialty
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, or surgical subspecialty care
Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings
Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-based, academic environment
