About the PositionJob Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endocrinology/Infectious Disease Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must possess a state or multi-state/compact RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Must-Have: Endocrinology experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Endocrinology and Infectious Disease. This position will involve working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be responsible for providing care for patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, HIV, and infections. Patient ratios are expected to be 5:1. The role requires intake, triage, and rooming of patients during clinic visits. Nursing skills required include assessment and administration of IV and IM antibiotics. Responsibilities will also include PICC line maintenance and/or removal, as well as performing STIM tests. You will collaborate with a dynamic team including medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, and pharmacists. This position does not require floating between units. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience must have their license in hand or proof of a pending license. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Preferred additional experience includes intake, triage, and related patient care tasks. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
